Enerjet Signs with ARINC for Communications; Full Suite of Services Behind a Successful Charter Launch

Date: January 28, 2009

Annapolis, Maryland-Canada's newest domestic and international charter operator, Enerjet, has contracted with ARINC Incorporated to provide data link communications for its charter flights.

The airline will operate next-generation Boeing 737-700 aircraft exclusively, and ARINC's implementation team has been working with Enerjet and its partners since the original paper planning stages. Work has included configuring the aircraft avionics and data message flow through the ARINC Network to interface with Enerjet's chosen applications and preferred third-party providers of flight services.

Initially, Enerjet plans to use data link for all crew, flight following, aircraft performance, air traffic, weather and engine messaging. Enerjet will use the ARINC AviNetSM Ground Network and GLOBALinkSM air-to-ground data link for all data communications.

"ARINC is delighted to work with a team of seasoned individuals from the aviation industry who understand the importance of automation and mission-critical data," stated Karla Cadden, ARINC Account Director, Commercial Aviation Sales. "We and our partners in the field are working to ensure Enerjet has a solid foundation of air-ground services and a successful launch. We plan to continue to work with Enerjet on more technical opportunities to enhance their business growth."

"We have been very pleased with the cooperation and support ARINC has shown us as we focus our energies toward launching and expanding our business in the first quarter," stated Tim Morgan, Enerjet President and CEO. "We are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship."
