Enerjet partners with Flair Air

Enerjet is pleased to welcome Flair Air to our election air charter team, which will be serving the Liberal Party of Canada during the 2011 federal election campaign.

The addition of Flair provides greater depth and flexibility to our air charter service. Recent situations in other parts of the world have put unforeseen pressure on the aviation industry to move people and cargo in and out of distressed regions. Many aircraft have been repositioned as a result, reducing the inventory available for domestic charter flying in Canada. By teaming up with Flair Air, Enerjet can respond more efficiently and effectively to client needs during this period of high demand.

Enerjet is a Canadian registered airline headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Flair Air is a Canadian registered airline headquartered in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Media contact:

Darcy Morgan – Vice President
Enerjet
Reception: 1 (403) 648-2822

OTTAWA — The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, today announced the designation of Enerjet to operate scheduled international air services between Canada and Guyana, and of Air Transat to operate scheduled international air services between Canada and Turkey. “These designations will provide additional flight choices for consumers travelling between Canada and these two countries,” said Minister Strahl. “The designations also contribute to the growth of the Canadian air industry.” Enerjet is a new Canadian entrant into the scheduled international air services market, with Guyana being the airline’s inaugural destination.

"Enerjet is pleased to receive the designation for air services between Canada and Guyana", said Enerjet Vice President Darcy Morgan. "We have not yet finalized the start date for a Guyana scheduled air service. At this time we are working with Canadian and Guyanese service providers to assist with delivering a product to meet our high standards for safety, efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Enerjet Prepares for Change to Business Operations

The management of Enerjet is making plans for a restructuring of our business operations. Since our launch in 2008 Enerjet has delivered exceptional service to our customers and travelers in selected segments of the Canadian air transportation market. Our service has been powered by the most modern series of Boeing aircraft, which set standards for reduced fuel consumption and reduced environmental impact.

The launch line of business for Enerjet began with the transportation of workforce and personnel for the major capital projects in the energy industry. Since our launch we have expanded our customer base to include the construction industry, the military and law enforcement sectors. Shortly after our launch, the rapid contraction of the energy industry in 2009 required Enerjet to shift our business operations to include serving the Canadian tourism market.

Since then Enerjet has flown thousands of Canadians' to their favourite sunspot destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, Cuba and Central America. Feedback from our travelers has been overwhelmingly positive and a gratifying experience for everyone on our Enerjetic team. Since our first flight, Enerjet has achieved 100% dispatch reliability and has sustained this without interruption.

Enerjet is now preparing to update our lines of business to include a broader range of services. These services will require Enerjet to restructure our people and equipment over the coming weeks. The upcoming changes are designed to keep our efforts focused on delivering high quality, reliable service to our existing customers and travelers while we make preparations for our future business plans.

Interested parties seeking more information about Enerjet or our services are directed to visit our website at www.enerjet.ca.
