From the time you book your flight with Enerjet, review this pre-flight checklist to help ensure an enjoyable travel experience.
PLANNING
Review Itinerary Ensure you note the flight's departure and arrival time, flight number and where to check in. Keep your itinerary with you for all Enerjet travel segments. Tip: On your itinerary, ensure we have your destination or cell phone number recorded in case we need to contact you regarding updates pertaining to your return flight. | |
Make An Advanced Seat Reservation If you would like to select a seat prior to your flight, please review our Advanced Seat Reservations information. | |
Identification (ID) It is imperative that you have proper identification (ID) for your Enerjet flight. Without the required identification, you will not be permitted to travel. Review Enerjet's identification requirements. | |
Travel Insurance Before you travel on an Enerjet domestic or international flight, you may want to consider purchasing travel insurance. Consult with a travel agency or travel insurance provider for assistance. Presently Enerjet does not sell travel insurance. | |
Book Destination Accommodations and Ground Transportation Consult with a travel agency to book accommodations and ground transportation in your destination(s). Keep your booking confirmations with you when you travel. | |

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL (ADDITIONAL ITEMS)
Passports, Visas and General Identification Ensure that you have appropriate travel documentation for the country you are travelling to. Review our Identification Requirements section. | |
Customs and Immigration Know the customs and immigration policies of the destination(s) you are visiting, plus those of Canada for your return flight. Review our Identification Requirements section. | |
Special Dietary Meals If you have special dietary meal needs, please place a request by contacting us no later than 24 hours before your flight's scheduled departure. | |
Health / Vaccinations Consult with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada for health related information for the destination(s) you are visiting. Vaccinations are sometimes recommended. | |
Register with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada It is encouraged, but not required, to inform Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada of your itinerary when travelling outside of Canada. This will allow the Canadian government to better assist you while abroad should unforeseen circumstances arise. PACKING
Know What Not to Pack Before starting to pack, review the Canadian Air Transportation Security Authority's (CATSA) Pack Smart Overview for items not suitable for air travel and how to pack certain items, including liquids, gels, aerosols and food. | |
Pack Identification (ID), Valuables, Medication and Travel Documents Keep identification (ID), valuables, medication and travel documents on your person or in your carry-on luggage. For airport security screening, ensure you have a prescription or labeled prescription bottles for medication. | |
Prepare Gifts If you are travelling with gifts leave them unwrapped for airport security screening, plus customs and immigration if you are travelling outside of Canada. | |

Labeling Your Luggage Label all pieces of luggage, including carry on items and electronic devices you may use or have out onboard. Ensure the label's information includes your first and last name, plus contact information in the destination you are travelling to and your permanent residence. Luggage tags will be available at check-in. If you are travelling as part of a tour that includes luggage transfer service from the airport to your hotel room at your destination, see your tour operator representative at the airport near our check-in counters for any special luggage labeling instructions. | |
Take a Pen Keep a pen with you for convenience. You may need to fill out forms and labels throughout your travel. |
